Harp Lessons

Christina has experience of teaching harp students of all ages and all abilities. She approaches students as individuals, working with their particular skills and strengths, and sharing her love of the instrument.

Christina has taught harp students at Bedales School, Kingston University and St Paul’s Girls School and was deputy harp teacher at the Menuhin School. She was harp tutor for students for the London Youth Orchestra of Music and the Deaf, and has served as an adjudicator for harp festivals in London and Warwick. She has given composition master classes for music students at Goldsmith’s College, Sheffield University and Manchester University.

Christina has worked with Professor Adam Ockelford on his research project Sounds of Intent with groups of pre-school children at Eastwood Nursery School, Roehampton, and helped to write the harp section of Behind Bars by Elaine Gould (Faber), the definitive guide to music notation.

Christina is also able to help students with theory and aural training for ABRSM exams.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’re interested in learning the harp. All ages and levels welcome!
